U-Studio Global Awards names P/S Smile Mask a runner-up in Best Contextual advertising category during Q3 judging of works coming from 22 different countries around the world.
2020 has truly been a roller coaster ride for most of us. The covid-19 pandemic has brought a lot of challenges, learning and opportunity worldwide. It is Vietnam's resilience that made our market different compared to the rest of the world.
P/S back to school project is one of the works that we wanted to demonstrate our creativity in effectively reaching out to our target audience which are both mom and kids. We've always tried to balance on how to get both TA's interest in concepts we presented.
Our team worked on several creative rounds and got approval on a concept that both the brand team and U-Studio team loved. We are ready to move on to producing our concept in time for the coming school year. But then 2nd wave of the Covid- 19 pandemic happened in the central of Vietnam which brought us back to square 1, as we needed to be more relevant given the current mindset and situation of the Vietnamese. It has been a great challenge to think of a new direction in just 3 days as we cannot really move the school season.
In the end it proved to be rewarding showing how U-Studio together with the brand team can go together and work to a common goal of being relevant in answering the needs of our consumer.
P/S has always been about "Protecting the Vietnamese Smile" and we lived that advocacy through the P/S Smile Mask by making sure kids can still claim back that smile and joy on their faces. It has been a privilege to work on this great project that was meant to inspire both mom and kids to continue to be protected and at the same time remember P/S as a product that enabled them to still put up a big smile in facing obstacles ahead.
